I have been writing financial articles across a wide cross-section of issues for over a decade, from active currency strategies to regulatory effects on custodial services. Primarily the work covers institutional investment, banking and wealth management.

I am open to corporate writing and research, as well editorial features, news and sub-editing. Contact me.

My experience includes company work and time spent as an equities research editor at UBS Securities and Kerry Securities in Hong Kong and producing CNBC programmes during the station’s first year launch.

While I had dabbled in finance at both the BBC and the economics part of my degree, I began working for Sunday Money at the Sunday edition of the South China Morning Post looking at asset management issues, off-shore havens and custodial business.

From then on I have generated specialised copy and stories for a wide range of professional, trade and investment magazines and websites.

These include FT Mandate, Currency Investor, Pensions Week, Finance Week, Financial News and the now defunct Benchmark in Asia.

My understanding of the breadth of complex products also allowed me to help organise and produce outlines for Financial Times conferences, along with booking high-profile guest speakers. Other work has included research including for asset management companies as well as writing.

Corporate clients over the years have included Franklin Templeton, HSBC and Bank of Bermuda, amongst others.
